Roozbeh Kalateh started his PhD in “conversion of textile waste to useful commodities” in February of 2016. He received his MEng Degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh in 2015. His final year project focused on “improved oil recovery methods for heavy oil and tars” with collaboration of Ingen-Ideas Ltd. So far, he has published one journal paper and is preparing another two for publications.

Currently, his focusing on catalytic conversion (pyrolysis) of textile representing model compounds and textile material itself with interests in zeolite and silica catalysts including metal induced ones.
